Use Your Time Wisely! It Could Change the World!
There are 168 hours in the week, which translates to 10,080 minutes to accomplish all of the goals and dreams that you have. Think about those numbers. It took Michelangelo four years to paint the Sistine Chapel. It reportedly took 2.5 months for Mark Zuckerberg to write the code for Facebook and it took one year and 45 days to build the Empire State Building. With accomplishments like these, I began to ponder the use of time. Let’s consider this scenario. You work a 40 hour per week job, you spend 11 hours per week eating, you sleep 56 hours per week (yeah right), and you spend 7 hours of week in worship/meditation. You then spend 14 hours per week with family. That would leave 40 hours per week to accomplish your goals and dreams per week or 2080 hours per year to spend on self-improvement efforts such as reading books, listening to podcasts, being actively engaged in creating a better opportunity for yourself and those around you. Could you create another stream of success in your life with that amount of time each year? Think about the fact that Dr. Martin Luther King had the same amount of time that you have to change the world. Jesus Christ spent three years in ministry and had an impact that is still changing lives today. Remember that time is the commodity that you cannot retrieve. When it is gone, it is gone. USE YOUR TIME WISELY! It could change the world.
